But inevitably, the winter weather turns so bad that even the toughest, most dedicated rider can’t safely ride. Snow, ice, freezing rain – these are weather conditions designed for 4 wheels, not 2.
So, what does the biker do in January to fill that hole in his or her heart?
Well, we’re always here at Liberty with a cup of hot coffee. Stop by and visit, look at the bikes, smell the Harley smells from our Service Department, browse our selection of Clothing and Gear (BTW did you know that Licensed Product is 20% off in January??) or chat with our Parts or Service guys about what improvements you could make to your bike during the downtime. Maybe it's time to trade up to a newer bike - winter is a great time for buying a new bike, especially with the selection at its best!
There are also a few biker-type events in January you might want to check out – on January 12 & 13 is the Jersey Show at Somerset. Bike show, car show and craft show, all under one roof! Check out the flyer at the Liberty Events page, or visit them at www.harleyrenedzvous.com for all the info! Liberty will have a tent set up so don’t miss it!
The weekend after that, January 18-20, is the International Motorcycle Show at the Javitz Center in NYC. This show is HUGE, showcasing bikes of all makes and models, as well as a whole lot of other stuff to do! It’s probably the premier show for the Motorcycle Enthusiast, and we will be there at the Harley-Davidson booth, so stop by and say hi!
Then, Saturday, January 26, stop by Liberty for the next in our Saturday Seminars, Big Bore Breakfast – HANDS ON seminar! This time, instead of just learning about the hows and whys of performance work, you can watch an actual Big Bore Kit be installed on a bike, and ask any questions of Anthony, our Service Manager, or our H-D Certified Technician doing the install. It’s a great opportunity to see what really goes on during performance work – but due to space constraints, attendance is limited. So make sure you RSVP via our website, or call Anthony at 732-381-2400!
And if you look to your right – you’ll see a countdown to spring. Oh boy, we can’t wait.
